About SSTM

Sal Wood

Sal wood comes from Sal tree. Sal tree is straight and cylindrical and attains good length. Sal comes from Malaysia and other countries and is a little less expensive when compared to teak.

Kerala Mahogany

A reddish-brown coloured hardwood, mahogany is known by its distinct grain. It is strong, durable and takes to staining and polishing very well.

Kerala Vengai

Vengai is also known as "God's Tree" in Tamil Nadu. Vengai contains a natural Oil in it which protects the wood from termite or any other insect attacks.

Teak Wood

Originally found in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and south East Asian plantations, it now also grows in Africa and the Caribbean.
